Professional Magician David Black
Magician
David Black is a professional entertainer, educator, actor and magician. David holds degrees in Theater and Psychology from Binghamton University and is an Order of Merlin member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians. David is President of the Southern Tier Magic Circle. Though he has performed for over 30 years in such far away places as Australia, New Zealand, Great Britain and Bermuda, he most frequently performs in upstate New York and northern Pennsylvania. David has also been a featured reader for the Celebrity Read-Along DVD playing at the Discovery Center™ BOOKS and Beyond Readers™ Theater and the Greater Binghamton Airport. In addition to performing, David enjoys helping young people discover the wonder of magic, theater, and the variety arts.
Educator
David has been teaching children, youth and adults in many roles with a variety of topics for over thirty-five years. In the eighties, he taught ballroom dancing for the Arthur Murray Studio and Water Safety at the YMCA.
For the past thirty years, David has directed the education programs for several area churches, teaching classes, presenting workshops, and leading summer camps for elementary children and teenage youth.
Naturally, David has taught magic in many settings including private lessons.
